Just a brief note to introduce ourself (again) - and thank you, our loyal readers for stopping by the Buffalo Movie Blog (aka BUFFA-WOOD). Every month readership has grown and we could not be more thrilled - we've also gotten some great email and Facebook messages and we're committed to staying connected and serving our audience and spreading the word about movie related events right here in Buffalo and beyond - while still remaining focused on our hometown. So here's a few FAQs:
Who we are?
The Buffalo Movie Blog features the contributions of several Buffalo-based writers acting as one voice. Reviews are the views of individual writers and we welcome feedback and comments both here on Facebook.
Our Mission
To get the word out and help build Buffalo's film culture via the promotion of projects, screenings, festivals, works-in-progress, news events, etc - along with reviews. Submit your links to us at BuffaloMovieBlog@gmail.com - including news, screening info, trailers, funding campaigns, and victories you've had! We've love to hear from you. We also accept screeners for review (we recommend Vimeo) - and with enough notice can review your film before the screening. **We are committed to a review process that is fair, honest, and open minded - sometimes it we love a movie, sometimes we don't.
Our Future
We're actively seeking contributions including guest bloggers. Other content and information we're happy to share via Facebook and Twitter.
